Bio

Kyra grew up in Plainfield, NH and started skating just after learning to walk. She played for the Twin Valley Flyers, Hanover Wild, Lebanon Lightning, and Hartford Storm throughout her youth career. By high school, she garnered all-state honors in each of her four varsity seasons with the Lebanon Raiders, eventually being named New Hampshire High School Player of the Year in 2012.

Upon graduating from high school Kyra played one year of ACHA Hockey at the University of Vermont before transferring to DIII Manhattanville College. In her senior year Kyra was leading scorer and captain for the Valiants. After graduating with a degree in sports management and communications, Kyra coached at the North America Hockey Academy, where her team won the JWHL U16 Championship. Kyra has been with the St. James since the complex opened in 2017 serving as the Assistant Hockey Director, Girls Hockey Director and Director of Hockey Business Development.
